There are quite a few international chain hotels in Malacca. Marriott, Hilton, and InterContinental all have their own properties. However, if I take into account the scenery, location, and vacation atmosphere comprehensively, Holiday Inn Melaka is actually a very advantageous option.

The hotel is located relatively close to the Strait of Malacca, and more than half of the rooms as well as the public areas of the hotel offer views of the sea. Especially in the swimming pool area, when swimming or sitting on a lounge chair to rest, you can look out towards the Strait of Malacca. On good days, the view is very expansive.

If you arrive in Malacca by car, there are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel. There are several parking spaces on the ground floor and at the entrance of the lobby. There are also charging spaces at the lobby entrance. Since Malaysian gasoline is so cheap, it is probably reserved for guests coming from Singapore.
  
When checking in, the staff's service also left a good impression on me. Besides their excellent attitude in handling the procedures, the front desk would also voluntarily provide a map of Malacca tourism, introducing the nearby attractions worth visiting based on your stay time, such as Chicken Market Street, Dutch Red House, St. Paul Hill, and Famosa Ancient City, and would also briefly recommend the tour routes.
