first time on the high speed train. very impressed.

took the high speed train from beijing to xi'an. first time on chinese trains.

the station was huge but well organized. signs in english. found my gate easily.

the train arrived exactly on time. inside was clean and modern. seats were comfortable with more legroom than i expected.

there was a snack cart but i brought my own food. also usb ports at the seats.

the train was quiet. people spoke softly or looked at their phones.

the ride took about 5 hours. would definitely take the train again over flying.
