Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer – 30% Off Spontaneous Escapes Redemption for August Travel (Tutorial)

Singapore Airlines updated its monthly Spontaneous Escapes mileage discount promotion on July 15, 2026. For select flights departing between August 1 and August 31, 2026, KrisFlyer members can redeem award tickets in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class with a 30% mileage discount.

This promotion also marks the first time that flights operated by its low-cost subsidiary, Scoot, are included in the redemption scope. The booking window closes on July 31, 2026.

Who is eligible: All Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer members

Discount details: 30% off the required miles for Saver-level award tickets on designated flights, covering Singapore Airlines Economy / Premium Economy / Business Class, as well as Scoot Economy Class

Booking window: From now until July 31, 2026, 23:59 (local time)

Travel period: August 1 – August 31, 2026

Booking channels: Available exclusively through the Singapore Airlines official website and official mobile app. Phone hotlines, ticketing offices, travel agencies, and other channels are not eligible.

Basic restrictions:
- Tickets must be issued immediately within the same booking session; waitlists are not supported
- No changes or refunds after ticketing (including fully unused tickets)
- One-way and round-trip redemptions are allowed; stopovers are not permitted
- Taxes and surcharges must be paid separately and are not subject to the discount
- Cannot be combined with other mileage promotions

This promotion covers six major regions: Southeast Asia, North Asia, West Asia/Africa, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, and North America. Below are the discounted one-way mileage requirements for some of the most popular routes:

Economy Class

Southeast Asia (short-haul):
Singapore – Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Jakarta, Medan, Brunei: 5,600 miles
Singapore – Bangkok, Phuket, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Phnom Penh: 9,100 miles

North Asia (China / Japan / South Korea):
Singapore – Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Taipei: 10,850 miles
Singapore – Beijing, Shanghai: 14,350 miles
Singapore – Seoul, Busan: 17,850 miles

Australia / New Zealand:
Singapore – Darwin, Perth: 14,350 miles
Singapore – Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Sydney: 20,300 miles

Europe / North America (long-haul):
Singapore – Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Los Angeles, Seattle, and other key destinations: 30,800 miles
