guilin and yangshuo. the landscape is unreal.

just came back from guilin and yangshuo. the mountains are incredible. pictures don't do it justice.

in guilin, i took the li river cruise to yangshuo. 4 hours on the boat. the scenery along the way was the best part.

yangshuo is smaller but more laid back. rented a bike and rode through the countryside. passed rice paddies and small villages.

also went to xingping old town. quiet and not crowded.

if you have time, do the bamboo rafting on the yulong river. peaceful and beautiful.

the food in yangshuo is good. try the beer fish. sounds weird but tastes great.
