stayed at a chinese capsule hotel. interesting experience.
tried a capsule hotel in beijing. wanted to see what it's like.the capsules are like small pods. each has a bed, light, usb port, and curtain. about the size of a single bed.
common area has lockers, showers, and a lounge. showers were clean but bring your own towel.
cost was 15 usd per night. cheaper than regular hotels.
privacy is okay. the curtain blocks light but not noise. bring earplugs.
good for solo travelers on a budget. not for couples or people who need space.
the other guests were mostly young chinese travelers. everyone was quiet and respectful.
i stayed for 2 nights. would do it again for short stays.
but for longer stays, i prefer a regular hotel. more space and better sleep.
